The Town of Hoosick has two important announcements regarding the Community Park:
There are NO BIKES ALLOWED on the courts! (No bicycles, e-bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc.) The Town recently resurfaced these courts, and bikes damage the surface. Please be aware that the Town is working with Village Police to monitor the area more closely. E-bikes are also a safety concern! There are children playing on the courts and playground, and e-bikes are not allowed in the park!
The “Castle Wall” on the playground is slated to be removed in the coming weeks. It is past it’s useful and safe life, is in need of constant repairs due to community vandalism, and is posing a safety concern. The Town will be removing the structure and installing a temporary fence until a permanent fence can be installed. The Town’s Playground Committee will be working to add something new in the near future. Want to join the Town’s Playground Committee?
